Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Anodize Department Team Lead to oversee and support 2nd shift operations. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for coordinating production activities, mentoring team members, and ensuring consistent adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a team toward operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and train team members to meet performance and production goals.
• Oversee daily workflow and coordinate with other departments to maintain production efficiency.
• Conduct hourly check-ins with employees to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
• Validate job setups, review process cards, and ensure adherence to production instructions.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify part quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work area.
• Promote and enforce safety practices; conduct routine safety walks and address hazards promptly.
• Ensure all team members are current on safety and process training requirements.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move parts and materials as needed.
• Accurately record production data and print necessary labels and documentation using company software.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other leads to identify and implement process improvements.
• Occasionally interact with customers to address specific quality or process needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience.
• Strong math, measurement, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality standards.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
