| Description | The Material Handlers' primary job function is to support the operations team with pulling and allocating raw materials and moving materials and products from one department to another to support customer requirements and production flow. They will assist in all aspects when it comes to allocating materials, moving product, and assisting in department functions to keep production moving. |
| Requirements | • Able to safely operator a sit down forklift • Ability to work in a safe manner. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to pay attention to surroundings. • Demonstrate ability to stack and package material properly. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. |
| Physical Reqs | • Ability to stand and walk for full 8–10-hour shift. • Ability to pass a drug test. • Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds. |
