| Shift/Hours: | 1st Shift 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thur |
| Career Level: | 1 to 3 months experience |
| Education: | High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training |
| Salary: | $19 - $20 1st |
| Company Info: | This local manufacturing company believes in finding high quality, qualified people and treating them like family. Many of the employees have been there for 15 or more years. Once hire on, employees receive 32 hours of vacation immediately |
| Description: | 1. Assemble parts, partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor 2. Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints 3. Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand tools 3. Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce fit between parts 4. Operate drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines, and/or other mechanical devices to assist in assembly operation 5. Inspect and test assembly |
| Requirements: | 1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training 2. Read blueprints and exceptional communication skills 3. Previous experience with engines, oil changes, small engine repair, building engines, engine repairs, etc. 4. Proven experience with hand and power tools. |
| Physical Requirements: | 1. Lift or move 30 to 50lbs 2. Perform the following: stand, twist, turn, grasp, grip, pull, torque, bend, crouch, stoop, and walk |
