Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Technician to join a busy reconstruction team. This hands-on role is responsible for hanging, repairing, and finishing drywall in residential and commercial buildings impacted by damage. The ideal candidate has experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques, takes pride in delivering high-quality results, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Hang drywall on walls and ceilings
• Perform taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing to a smooth, professional standard
• Complete small and large drywall patch repairs
• Match and apply common wall and ceiling textures (knockdown, orange peel, etc.)
• Assist with framing, insulation, and light carpentry when needed
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with project managers, crew members, and customers
• Ensure high-quality workmanship throughout every project

Requirements
• Drywall hanging and/or finishing experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and rotating on-call shifts
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
