The Sales Manager position will be a key contributor to our business growth by driving revenue through proactively targeting and building strategic relationships with existing and new customers in industries such as food, retail and medical. 
Description
We are looking for an ambitious individual with outbound sales experience to lead our small, but growing sales department.  This position carries a quota with it so the Sales Manager will be expected to sell our solutions.  The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, an efficient salesperson, and a strategic, long-term thinker.
Requirements
•              Quickly build a rapport with new stakeholders and develop long-term     relationships.
•              Providing influential presentations in person or via web meetings.
•              Leverage the list of accounts and probable buyers, hunting for new logos, and new inbound prospects from calls, website traffic and trade shows.
•              Generate interest with key stakeholders to procure discovery conversations or meetings at multiple levels throughout the organization.
•              Ask effective questions and actively listen to uncover the customer’s current situation including problems, desired situation, business drivers, needs and decision-making processes.
•              Understand company’s value proposition and competitive advantages in order to effectively differentiate and sell the value of the solution in a competitive market.
•              Price validation on customer’s daily purchase orders.
•              Analyze, prepare, and provide customer price quotes.
•              Provide direct management of staffing in the sales department. 
•              Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.
•              Reach out to customers for additional opportunities as directed in the sales process.
•              Manage and process a qualified pipeline of opportunities by prioritizing assigned accounts and prospects.
•              Close profitable deals from existing and new customers.
 
Physical Requirements
•  No special physical demands are required
•  General office environment in which this position includes periods of telephone and computer work that may require sitting for long periods of time
