Pay: $39.00–$54.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project Controls Scheduler/Specialist to support major transmission and substation projects by monitoring costs, schedules, and performance metrics. This role plays a vital part in ensuring project efficiency through detailed scheduling, cost tracking, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, experience with Primavera P6, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on large-scale infrastructure projects that serve communities across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Scheduling: Lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of resource- and cost-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 for transmission and substation projects.
• Primavera Expertise: Serve as the Primavera P6 system administrator—configuring data, managing users, and providing training and process improvements to optimize project scheduling.
• Reporting & Risk Management: Generate detailed reports on schedule and cost performance, identify project risks, and recommend corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
• Process Improvement & Collaboration: Develop and refine project control procedures, promote best practices, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Technical Proficiency & Leadership: Utilize expertise in critical path scheduling, project controls, and risk management to support organizational goals and mentor others on scheduling tools and techniques.

Requirements:
Education & Experience
• Post-secondary education in project scheduling, project management, engineering, or a related field (degree or certification).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling and controls.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams of project professionals and support complex projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 required (or ability to learn quickly).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Working Conditions:
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional visits to field or construction sites.
• Extended periods of computer-based work required.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions safely and effectively.
