Job Summary:
 The Operations Manager oversees and optimizes logistics, warehouse, and third-party provider (3PL) relationships. This role is responsible for leading operational teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining efficient, accurate inventory and product movement. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of logistics processes, data integrity, and continuous improvement methodologies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the safety of all warehouse employees, contractors, carriers, and guests.
  2. Maintain audit-ready records for all materials and movements, ensuring quick access for internal and external audits.
  3. Conduct internal audits (food safety, safety, inventory accuracy, traceability) and implement corrective actions with assigned owners and deadlines.
  4. Enforce data integrity and access controls to support accurate audit results.
  5. Supervise and mentor the warehouse and 3PL teams, setting objectives, managing performance, and supporting professional development.
  6. Oversee logistics and warehouse operations from inventory management through order fulfillment, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  7. Manage 3PL warehouse partnerships to ensure regulatory compliance, service level performance, and cost efficiency.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  9. Prepare, analyze, and report on key metrics, identifying areas for process improvement.
  10. Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to align with company guidelines.
  11. Support internal and external audits and inspections to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  12. Resolve escalated operational or customer issues efficiently.
     Maintain accurate records of inbound/outbound shipments, product conversions, and damage reporting.
  13. Implement and monitor best practices for lot traceability and inventory visibility.
     Collaborate with procurement, sales, logistics, and supply chain teams to align operations with business goals.
 
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience managing logistics and warehouse operations, including 3PL relationships.
  3. Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics systems, and warehouse procedures.
  4. Proficiency with ERP, WMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
     Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Knowledge of FDA and FSVP regulations preferred.
  7. OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  8. Experience with Kaizen, Lean, or 5S methodologies preferred.
  9. Ability to operate a forklift and aerial lift (certification preferred).
 
Working Conditions:
 This position operates within a warehouse and office environment. The role requires exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dust. Regular standing, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds are required. Operation of forklifts, vehicles, and other equipment may be part of the role.
