| Company Info: | Our client is a rapidly growing general maintenance company providing maintenance services to multi-family housing and commercial buildings located throughout the metro area. They are looking for entry level candidates for a brand-new paid training program that leads to a long term, fulfilling career in the skilled trades. They have a state-of-the-art indoor training facility where you will be training in a small cohort under the direct supervision of a skilled field technician. Once you successfully complete this 2-3 week training program, you will shadow a tech in the field and be eligible for a considerable pay raise and the option to be hired on by the company. This is a great way to break into a career in the fields of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, building automation systems, and other related technical fields. |
| Description: | 1.Follow work orders from company. 2.Dispatch to client location and perform on site repairs. 3.Must be reliable, dependable, and friendly. 4.Some technical experience highly desired. |
| Requirements: | 1. Must demonstrate clients Core Values 2. Must have solid mechanical aptitude 3. Must demonstrate past workplace reliability and longevity 4. Must be able to operate power and hand tools in a safe manner 5. Strong customer relation skills 6. Must possess valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and be insurable 7. Read, write, and speak English 8. Must be able to provide own (basic) tools by the time you complete training: power drill, tape measure, screwdrivers, hammer, etc 9. Must be able to successfully pass the Kari Koskinen background check for residential keyholders in the state of MN. |
| Physical Requirements: | 1. This is a physically demanding job. 2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly. 3. Must be able to work in a wide variety of weather conditions. |
