The Transmission Business Strategy & Development team is responsible for the business aspects of the transmission division and the development and executing Great River Energy’s forward transmission strategies. In this role you will utilize critical thinking skills as a transmission and regulatory policy expert to perform analysis and research, and synthesize information to develop policy positions, strategies, and recommendations supporting the transmission needs of GRE’s member-owners. The intern will be responsible for working across multiple transmission functions and roles – providing an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in many fields. Job Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements | Working Conditions: The majority of work will be performed in a normal office environment. The ability to clearly and comfortably view, interpret, and process information via a computer monitor for extended periods of time during normal working hours is required. Some tasks may require repetitive motions, i.e. computer work. We provide competitive internship pay. Duration of the internship will be FT during May – August 2024. |
