Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join their Claims Department. Ideal candidates will bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Entry-level applicants are welcome — training is provided! This role offers career growth opportunities for motivated individuals who want to expand into claims handling and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and document incoming customer phone calls
- Obtain estimates and input them into the internal database (basic drafting skills helpful but not required)
- Assist with negotiating claims and project estimates with insurance companies
- Work closely with team members and customers to ensure projects and estimates are completed accurately and on time
Qualifications:
- Ability to type 40 words per minute
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Drafting experience is a plus, but not required — training will be provided
- Professional, friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment
- Primarily desk and computer work throughout the day
