Job Title:Warehouse / Driver Class A
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Location:Minneapolis
Shift/Hours:1st Shift M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm
Career Level:6 months +
Education:High School Diploma/GED
Salary:$25/hr + DOQ

Description:
1. Transport raw materials and finished goods to customers and vendors safely
2. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
3. Interact with customers in a professional manner
4. Collect and verify delivery and pickup instructions using packing lists, bill of ladings, and ROM Portal
5. Complete driver time sheets for each run and return to Truck Scale Administrator daily
6. Plan routes and meet pickup and delivery schedules using ROM Portal
7. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, bracing, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
8. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance checklists daily
9. Safely operate forklift and when unloading material for purchasing
10. Unload our drivers, and reload with necessary equipment in a timely manner as possible to best serve our customers

Requirements:
1. High School Education or GED
2. Technical training and certifications are highly recommended
        i. Skid loader
        ii. Forklift
3.  Knowledge of metals is preferred but will train the right person
4. Service Oriented
5. Time Management
6. Strong Mathematic skills
7. Be familiar with the operation manuals of the machinery
8. Must have a valid Minnesota Class A Driver’s License

Physical Requirements:
1. The physical requirements for this position is sitting, standing, bending, and/or twisting for long periods of time. 
2. This position must be able to climb steps, stand on a small platform
3. Individual will climb in and out of forklift or skid loader, and lift up to 40 pounds
