Description
Professionally represent our Customer by serving as a first point of contact by answering member inquiries, along with promoting products and services while providing quality customer service to ensure the appropriate Experience.

  1. Manage external customer relationships, using all types of communication devices, by addressing member’s requests in such a manner that creates quality customer relationships.
  2. Energy Advisor: Promote and educate members regarding Conservation and Efficiency Programs to facilitate achievement of Corporate Strategic Goals along with introducing members to current incentives available or deemed priority and encourage customer to participate in such programs.
  3. Provide back-up to maintain the front desk in the absence of the receptionist to cover both daily breaks and other absences. 
  4. All other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • 6 months’ experience in a customer service role, with inbound or outbound call center experience preferred
  • Computer experience, including the ability to use and toggle between multiple screens, and a basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively work within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Must be focused on continuous learning, productivity and is results-oriented
  • High degree of personal responsibility with proven ability to work independently, and a solid work ethic
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload
  • Strong communication skills (listening, understanding and relaying information, and good writing skills)
  • Ability to work with customers in a respectful and calm manner
  • Ability to understand the importance of and follow the Member Service Department and Corporate Values along with the “Connexus Experience”
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, including frequent periods of sitting and also carrying equipment up to 20lbs
