Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our team. The Tanker Welder will be responsible for the welding and fabrication of industrial tanks, ensuring they meet industry standards for quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in both MIG and TIG welding techniques, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.  This position do not entail welding inside confined spaces (inside tanks). Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude. 
Requirements

  1. Weld in all physical positions
  2. Will weld 10-15% of the time, the rest will be mechanic work 
  3. MUST be able to perform thumb control Tig welding as well as Mig welding 
  4. MUST be able to set up welding machine
  5. Weld Aluminum and Stainless Steel from 1/8th inch up to 3/8th and ½ inch
  6. Mechanical knowledge and ability:
    • ABS brake systems
    • Disc brake systems
    • Pneumatic and Hydraulic vent systems
    • Internal Valves (Top Hat, Quick Clean, Disc, Air and Mechanical
    • Manifold systems
    • Suspensions (Air Ride and Spring Ride)
    • Electrical and Wiring
    • Pneumatic sir systems
    • Wheel ends
    • Steel Toed Boots & Welding Helmet required
Physical Requirements
•  Ability to lift 40+ lbs.
