Job Summary:
We are seeking an Experienced TIG/MIG Welder who thrives on precision fabrication and challenging custom work. In this role, you will weld and assemble stainless steel and aluminum components used in high-quality industrial tanks and equipment. This is not repetitive production welding—each project requires skill, focus, and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding using thumb control on stainless steel and aluminum
• Weld in all positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
• Fabricate custom components by interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Set up, adjust, and calibrate welding equipment for materials ranging from 1/8” to ½”
• Complete mechanical assembly and troubleshooting tasks as part of the fabrication process
• Use hand tools and power tools for fitting, finishing, and fabrication work
• Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Formal welding training required; welding school and certifications must be listed
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on welding experience, including custom fabrication
• Strong proficiency in TIG and MIG welding
• Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum in all positions
• Ability to independently set up welding equipment
• Experience welding material thicknesses from 1/8” to ½”
• Strong mechanical aptitude with assembly and repair experience
• Comfortable using a wide range of general shop and fabrication tools
Working Conditions:
This role is performed in an active fabrication shop environment. The position requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift, including lifting 40+ lbs. Welders work hands-on with metal, tools, and equipment while following strict safety and quality standards.
