Job Summary:
We are hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to join a reputable Fortune 100 company in Maple Grove, MN. In this role, you’ll be responsible for testing new road paving and construction equipment in a variety of weather conditions. This is a great opportunity for those who take pride in operating heavy machinery and want to be part of manufacturing the next generation of construction equipment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for testing new road paving and construction equipment in a variety of weather conditions. This is a great opportunity for those who take pride in operating heavy machinery and want to be part of manufacturing the next generation of construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and test heavy equipment under both standard and extreme conditions
- Perform functional evaluations of new machinery in outdoor settings
- Dress appropriately for varying weather; Carhartt coveralls provided if needed
- Collaborate with the team to ensure equipment is safe and fully functional
Qualifications:
- Previous equipment operator experience is a plus (1–3 years preferred)
- Must own steel toe boots with metatarsal guards
- Must successfully pass a driving record check, pre-employment drug screen, and criminal background check
- Provide two professional references
- Completion of operator training and OSHA-approved safety training packets
- Strong work history and dependable work ethic required
- Flexibility is critical—shifts may be canceled at the last minute, and full-time hours are not guaranteed despite commitment requirements
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
- Subject to varying and extreme weather conditions
- This position is not suitable for individuals with respiratory issues or back problems
