Job Description

Job Title:Help Desk Technician
Location:St. Cloud 
Pay Range:$19-$27
Shift:Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (in office only)
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Status: Full Time

Job Summary:

As a Help Desk Technician to provide IT support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. You'll work hands-on to ensure systems run smoothly and users receive prompt, courteous assistance.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to help desk tickets and provide technical support in person and remotely
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, software, and peripherals
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of Windows environments
  • Escalate unresolved issues when necessary
  • Communicate clearly with users and team members
  • Keep your work area clean and organized, and maintain a professional appearance
  • Occasionally travel (rare and typically short-term)


Qualifications: 
  • 1–3 years of IT support experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Exchange, and TCP/IP networks
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to support executive-level users
  • Organized, proactive, and team-oriented


Working ConditionsThis is a full-time, on-site position in a professional office environment. You'll spend much of your day working at a computer and communicating with end users. The role may require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) to move or install equipment. Some flexibility for after-hours support or minimal travel may be needed on occasion. A neat, professional appearance and a strong sense of confidentiality are expected.
