Description
  1. Reviews weekly timecards for temporary and direct employees, fields Vacation and Sick time requests and prepares for weekly payroll. 
  2. Responds to employee requests for VAC/Sick time balances, benefit questions and changes, 401K, etc. 
  3. Maintains employee files, company records, with the strictest attention to confidentiality
  4. Participates in the safety committee, and organizes company meetings, training, and recognition events. 
  5. Keeps up with weekly and monthly tasks, like funding 401K and HSAs, reviewing invoices, maintaining backup records.
  6. Initiates hiring processes when needing, working with recruiters, and screening candidates. 
  7. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.  
Requirements
  1. Minimum of a 2-year degree in HR or related field, or 3+ years in an HR related role.
  2. Other managerial experience, which included interviewing, onboarding, and employee management a plus, but not a substitute for an administrative HR position.
  3. Fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written
  4. Ability to remain organized while busy and prioritize effectively.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Suite. HRM system or Timeclock system experience a plus.
