Job Title: Ingredient Processing Operator 
Status: Full Time (Temp to Hire)
Work Type: In person
Shift: M-F 5am-1pm
Pay: $24-$30/hr DOQ

Job Summary:
As a Production Line Operator, you will support a semi-automated food ingredient processing system. This hands-on role requires repetitive lifting, operating machinery and forklifts, and collaborating with team members to ensure food is processed to high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in operating a semi-automated food processing system
  2. Lift objects up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  3. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely (certification preferred)
  4. Conduct basic lab analysis procedures and follow proper food testing protocols
  5. Complete paperwork and labeling accurately
  6. Monitor gauges and adjust processing settings as needed
  7. Ensure food products meet safety and quality standards
  8. Wear required PPE including hairnets, gloves, masks, smocks, and earplugs
  9. Work safely in environments that may be loud, dusty, cold, warm, or contain allergens (wheat, dairy, soy)
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to speak, read, and write basic English
  2. Understanding of basic arithmetic and mathematics
  3. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
  4. Discipline to follow safety, operational, and quality procedures
  5. Forklift experience (certification preferred)
  6. Knowledge of food quality and safety standards
  7. Ability to conduct lab testing using proper techniques
  8. Preferred: Experience in industrial/agricultural manufacturing or warehouse labor
  9. Preferred: Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools
Working Conditions:
The production environment may be loud, dusty, cold, warm, or odorous and involves exposure to allergens (wheat, dairy, soy). Protective equipment such as smocks, gloves, hairnets, earplugs, and masks must be worn.
