Status: Full Time
Work Type: In Person
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.
Location: Albertville, MN
Pay: $27.00–$35.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary:
The Production Line Lead is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations on a semi-automated production line processing dry food materials. This position leads a small team while actively working on the line, ensuring equipment is properly set up, production goals are met, and quality and safety standards are consistently followed. The ideal candidate brings manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to motivate and guide others in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support a production team of 1–4 employees
 • Verify materials, components, and equipment are ready prior to production runs
 • Coordinate with material handlers and operators to calibrate equipment for each order
 • Perform in-process quality and fill checks to ensure compliance with specifications
 • Assist with equipment assembly and disassembly during changeovers
 • Clearly communicate setup, quality, and production expectations to the team
 • Train and mentor new production employees and future leads
 • Monitor productivity, quality, and safety metrics to meet daily goals
 • Identify production challenges, recommend solutions, and escalate issues as needed
 • Lead by example to maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
 
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
 • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or industrial experience
 • Forklift certification with at least 1 year of hands-on experience
 • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
 • Strong basic math and measurement skills
 • Mechanical aptitude with experience operating production equipment
 • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
 • Proven leadership and mentoring skills with a positive, team-focused approach
 • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
 • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience preferred)
 
Working Conditions:
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
 • Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
 • Comfortable working around machinery and production equipment
 • PPE required based on job task and area
