Job Summary:
We are seeking an Inspection / Quality Technician to perform in-process and final inspections of complex machined parts. This role is vital in ensuring products meet strict customer and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and a solid understanding of precision measurement tools and inspection processes. Candidates with experience reading blueprints and working in a manufacturing or machining environment are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and a solid understanding of precision measurement tools and inspection processes. Candidates with experience reading blueprints and working in a manufacturing or machining environment are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform incoming, setup, in-process, and final inspection of machined parts per inspection plan requirements.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) for new part production per customer specifications.
• Assemble and verify inspection documents for outgoing shipments.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming parts and report discrepancies to the Material Review Board (MRB).
• Support change management and MRB processes as needed.
• Archive inspection records in both electronic and hard copy formats.
• Set up, operate, and program Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment.
• Select and use appropriate handheld gages (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to perform measurements.
• Maintain traceability of parts and lots throughout the inspection process.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

• Previous inspection or quality experience in a machining or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to work overtime on Fridays as needed.
• Basic English reading and communication skills required.
