Job Summary:
The Machinist role is responsible for producing high-quality machined parts that meet print and customer specifications. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with strong machining, setup, and programming experience, as well as a willingness to learn and grow. The role contributes directly to operational success through precision machining, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and production teams. On-the-job training is available for candidates with the right attitude and aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:
• Machine quality parts to print using CNC equipment and machining centers
• Create standard and complex drawings with dimensions, tolerancing, and detailed views
• Develop CAD models, CAM process models, and maintain CAD/CAM databases
• Create and edit CNC programs for multitasking mill-turn machines
• Perform complex machine setups and a variety of machining operations
• Conduct first-time program run-throughs to ensure accuracy and repeatability
• Assist with bills of material, engineering change orders, and technical documentation
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel as needed
• Maintain close-tolerance precision machining standards
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Effective communication skills in basic English
• Ability to work overtime on Fridays as needed
• Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused

Working Conditions:
This position operates in a precision manufacturing environment. The role requires standing or sitting for extended periods and performing repetitive machining and setup tasks. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, pushing, and twisting as required. The work environment is safety-focused, technical, and collaborative.
