Job Summary:
The Punch Press Operator is responsible for producing metal parts using punch presses and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role supports daily production goals by following work instructions, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe operation of machinery. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced pressroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate punch presses and other pressroom equipment according to job instructions
• Produce metal parts that meet specifications and quality standards
• Wash or oil parts as required during production
• Follow all work instructions, safety procedures, and quality guidelines
• Inspect parts visually for defects or inconsistencies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate production issues or concerns to supervisors
• Support team members and assist with additional tasks as needed

Working Conditions:
This position operates in a pressroom and manufacturing environment. The role requires standing and moving throughout the shift, working around machinery, and following all safety protocols. Operators may be exposed to moderate noise levels and must wear required personal protective equipment.
