Job Summary:
The Material Runner plays a critical support role in daily operations by ensuring materials, parts, and supplies are delivered to the correct departments in a timely manner. This position helps keep production moving smoothly by maintaining material flow, reducing downtime, and supporting warehouse and production teams. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable staying active throughout the shift.
The Material Runner plays a critical support role in daily operations by ensuring materials, parts, and supplies are delivered to the correct departments in a timely manner. This position helps keep production moving smoothly by maintaining material flow, reducing downtime, and supporting warehouse and production teams. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable staying active throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport materials, parts, and supplies between warehouse and production areas
• Ensure workstations are stocked with required materials to support production schedules
• Assist with staging, organizing, and replenishing materials as needed
• Follow work orders and instructions to deliver correct materials to the correct locations
• Communicate material shortages or issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with basic inventory checks and material counts
• Follow all safety procedures and facility guidelines
• Support additional warehouse or production tasks as assigned

• Prior warehouse, production, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed

Working Conditions:
This position operates in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. The role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. PPE such as safety glasses or steel-toe footwear may be required depending on the area.
