Job Description

Machine Maintenance Technician
Status: Full Time
Work Type: In person

Shift 6am-2:30 M-F

Pay $28-$32 DOQ

Job Summary:

A rapidly expanding manufacturer in Rogers, MN, is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and efficient operation of all fabrication equipment and facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills who thrives in a hands-on environment and values variety in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage a preventative maintenance program for all fabrication equipment and facilities
Perform safety-related repairs and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Maintain and repair power and hand tools as necessary
Assist with installation and removal of new or outdated equipment
Perform general building maintenance, including minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks
Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout and confined space protocols
Conduct snow removal and upkeep of grounds as part of facility care
Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
Respond to emergencies promptly and follow appropriate safety procedures
Document repairs and maintenance activities
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in machine maintenance required
Knowledge of basic shop practices and safe working habits
Understanding of basic electrical and hydraulic systems
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Effective communication and team collaboration skills

Working Conditions:

Physically demanding environment; must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift
Both indoor and outdoor work, including exposure to shop noise, dust, and temperature changes
