Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of production and facility equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, installing new machinery, and ensuring optimal operation of all manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on mechanical experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of production and facility equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, installing new machinery, and ensuring optimal operation of all manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on mechanical experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive maintenance orders and perform repairs or preventative maintenance as needed.
- Complete documentation and maintenance reports for all repair work.
- Communicate with vendors, shop employees, and management regarding repair progress and equipment status.
- Request tools, materials, and parts required to complete maintenance projects.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs or equipment modifications.
- Install and test new equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols during maintenance work.
- Assist in improving and optimizing maintenance procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of maintenance or mechanical repair experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good hand-eye coordination.
- 2+ years of recent experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair skills required. Needs 480 Volt.
- Experience working safely with 240–480 volts
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Computer literacy and ability to complete electronic maintenance records.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Forklift and hoist experience preferred.

This role involves regular exposure to industrial environments, including heat and noise. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical work and adhering to strict safety protocols at all times. The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, offering the opportunity to work with a supportive and skilled maintenance team.
