Job Summary:
The Master Electrician / State Certified Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing electrical systems that support continuous plant operations. This role is essential to ensuring equipment reliability, workplace safety, and compliance with electrical codes and standards. The ideal candidate brings strong industrial electrical experience, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a production environment. This is a hands-on role for an electrician who takes pride in precision, safety, and problem-solving.
The Master Electrician / State Certified Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing electrical systems that support continuous plant operations. This role is essential to ensuring equipment reliability, workplace safety, and compliance with electrical codes and standards. The ideal candidate brings strong industrial electrical experience, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a production environment. This is a hands-on role for an electrician who takes pride in precision, safety, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace motors, switches, circuit breakers, generators, controls, and related equipment
• Apply strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring codes, and material characteristics
• Install conduit, wiring, fixtures, switches, controls, and electrical components
• Safely perform work on energized circuits when required
• Reassemble, test, and verify electrical systems after maintenance or repair
• Install and maintain temporary power systems for special projects
• Support facility upgrades, modifications, and improvement initiatives
• Assist with general maintenance tasks as assigned
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and plant policies
