1 year of relevant electrical experience is required
Manufacturing background is desired

Salary
$28 - $32 / hour

Description
Our client is seeking a 3rd shift (11pm-7am, M-F) Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead with excellent attention to detail.  Our ideal candidate will have a background in repairing manufacturing machinery.  Overtime hours are often available.
 
Requirements
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls.
  • Troubleshoot problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase.
  • Remove and replace defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
  • Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs.
  • Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed.
  • Keep company tools put away and in working order.
  • Fabricate repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. Using shop equipment. (Welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.)
  • Good organizational skills with an ability to address multiple issues at once.
  • Effective communication skills in both spoken and written formats
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and to other employees of the company.  Must be able to understand safety rules, SOP’s, work instructions.  
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. several times per shift
  • Able to stand/walk for >80% of their shift. 
  • Able to bend/crouch for >20% of their shift
