Job Description

Job Title:	Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location:	Rogers, MN
Pay Range:	$25- $30 / hour
Shift:	2nd Shift
Job Type:	Temp to Hire
Status:	Full Time
Work Type:	In person

Job Summary:	Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic roll stock. They pride themselves on their customer service and value teamwork and innovation. As a company, they are always looking to address new markets that offer growth potential and unique challenges.

Key Responsibilities:	• Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls. • Troubleshooting problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase. • Removing and replacing defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools. • Communicating effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs. • Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed. • Keeping company tools put away and in working order. • Fabricating repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. Using shop equipment. (Welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.)

Qualifications:	High School diploma is preferred with 1 year of relevant work experience Electrical experience is necessary Good organizational skills with an ability to address multiple issues at once. Effective communication skills in both spoken and written formats Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and to other employees of the company. Must be able to understand safety rules, SOP’s, work instructions.

Working Conditions	Warehouse Environment Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. several times per shift Able to stand/walk for >80% of their shift. Able to bend/crouch for >20% of their shift
