Job Summary:
The Inspection / Quality role is responsible for ensuring machined parts meet all quality and customer requirements through in-process and final inspections. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in precision measurement. The role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with inspection standards. Candidates with CMM experience and a strong understanding of blueprints will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform incoming, setup, in-process, and final inspections per inspection plans
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with customer requirements
• Set up, operate, program, and complete inspections using CMM equipment
• Select and use appropriate handheld gages, including micrometers and calipers
• Assemble and maintain inspection documentation for outgoing shipments
• Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming parts to the Material Review Board
• Maintain part and lot traceability throughout the inspection process
• Archive inspection records in electronic and hard-copy systems
• Support change management and MRB activities as needed
• Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements
• Follow all quality standards, procedures, and safety guidelines

This position operates in a manufacturing and quality inspection environment. The role requires standing or sitting for extended periods and performing repetitive inspection tasks. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, pushing, and twisting as required. The work setting is detail-driven, safety-focused, and collaborative.
