Job Summary:
Our client is a well-established and innovative manufacturer in the printing industry and is seeking a Label & Card Finishing Supervisor to lead and support post-production operations in their Brooklyn Park, MN facility. This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing rewind, table work, packing, and final packaging within the pressroom. The Supervisor will play a key role in maximizing efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and fostering intra-team communication in a high-volume flexographic printing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership & Supervision
• Direct and supervise finishing personnel including rewinders, packers, and catchers
• Provide real-time coaching, task guidance, and support to enhance productivity and output quality
• Fill in as supervisory backup when other area Supervisors are absent

• Liaise between Press Operators and the Finishing team to ensure timely support and smooth transitions during post-production
• Address and resolve Label Finishing issues that hinder workflow or performance

• Process Efficiency
• Monitor, evaluate, and troubleshoot finishing processes and equipment for continual improvement
• Identify root causes of inefficiencies or product defects and implement corrective actions

• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with production goals
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior flexographic printing experience with strong knowledge of rewinding, table work, and packaging
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and team communication skills
• Capable of using computers for documentation and process tracking
• Able to interpret measurements, follow written/verbal instructions, and manage production targets
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally with lifting equipment, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs consistently)
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• High school diploma or GED required
