Job Summary:
The Lead Water Technician plays a key role in responding to residential and commercial water loss events and overseeing restoration efforts on job sites. This position works directly with team members to diagnose water damage, manage mitigation efforts, and ensure restoration projects are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings hands-on restoration experience, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers. Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to residential and commercial job sites for water damage restoration
• Diagnose, evaluate, and document water loss conditions
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying and dehumidification equipment
• Perform mitigation, demolition, and cleanup of damaged materials
• Assist with deodorization, mold remediation, and specialty cleanup tasks
• Load, transport, and maintain restoration equipment
• Ensure job sites are completed according to safety and quality standards
• Complete required paperwork and job documentation accurately
• Explain restoration processes and procedures clearly to customers
• Participate in rotational on-call schedule and overtime as needed

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of disaster restoration, construction, or related experience
• IICRC certification required
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to work on-call and overtime as required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented

Working Conditions:
• Travel throughout the Twin Cities required
