Brake Press Operator
Status: Full Time
Work Type: In person
Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm M-F
Pay: $24-30/hr 

Job Summary:
A rapidly growing manufacturer of architectural metal products in Rogers, MN, is seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Operator to join their production team. The ideal candidate will be confident in operating and setting up press brake machines and interpreting blueprints for accurate metal fabrication. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow with a stable, expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate press brake machines for precision metal forming
  • Accurately use measuring tools such as calipers, squares, and protractors
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications for production
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards
  • Perform routine machine checks and adjustments to ensure performance
  • Assist in various tasks within the shop as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of press brake operation experience required
  • At least 1 year of experience with flat layouts, bend allowances, press brake programming, and setup
  • Prior work in the sheet metal industry preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime when needed
  • Flexible to switch tasks based on shop demands
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift or maneuver 50 lbs regularly
  • Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs repeatedly
  • Requires standing for long periods in a physically demanding environment
