Job Description
| Job Title: | CNC Router Machine Operator |
| Job Type: | Long-term Temporary (possibly to hire) |
| Location: | Rogers, MN |
| Shift/Hours: | 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (20 min paid morning break and 30 min unpaid lunch), Monday thru Friday |
| Career Level: | 1-2 years experience operating a machine |
| Education: | High School Dip/GED |
| Salary: | $18-20+/hr DOQ (hiring bonus of $1000 - $250 @ 30 Days, $250 @ 60 days and $500 once hired on) |
| Description: | You will be working in a Sheet Metal shop, running the CNC router. You may also be working in other areas of the shop as needed based on their orders. • Communicate with plant manager throughout the day regarding what needs to be routed • Route all jobs assigned • Monitor all aspects of machine operation • Set up Router based on material and part requirements • Check part dimensions against prints for accuracy • Willing to change tasks within the shop as workload necessitates |
| Requirements: | 1. Good hand-eye coordination 2. Strong communication skills 3. Reliability and punctuality 4. Team player & Self Starter 5. Work overtime if necessary 6. Willingness to change tasks within the shop as needed 7. Previous experience working with fabrication tools, including drills, saws, caulking guns, calipers, tape measures, and grinders 8. Must be experienced in a job shop type environment |
| Physical Requirements: | 1. Lift 50lbs and 75lbs. occasionally 2. Physically demanding – stand all day |
