Machine Operator – Router
Status: Full Time
Work Type: In person
Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm M-F 
Pay: $20-23/hr 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Machine Operator to run a router in a busy sheet metal shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build skills in manufacturing—no prior machine operating experience is required, as training is provided. Candidates must be dependable, willing to learn, and flexible in assisting throughout different areas of the shop as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate router machine to cut and shape materials
  • Receive hands-on training to perform machine operations safely and efficiently
  • Assist in various areas of the shop based on production needs
  • Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of machine operation experience preferred (but not required)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Effective communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to work overtime and shift between tasks as necessary
  • Team-oriented mindset
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for the entire shift
  • Fast-paced, physically demanding work environment
