Job Description

Job Title:Machine Operator 1st shift
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Location:Northwest Minneapolis
Shift/Hours:1st shift   7am-3:30pm M-F 
Career Level:six or more months
Education:High School Degree or Vocation School Diploma/Certificate
Salary:1st shift  $18-$21/hr    


Description:1. Run PC based CNC controlled waterjet cutting machines
2. Setup machines
3. Operate the cutter
4. Provide general maintenance and troubleshooting
5. Learn some machine programming

Requirements:1. Basic knowledge of inspection tools
2. Follow directions and work instructions
3. Aptitude testing before employment
4. Read blueprints and/or custom drawings
5. Related experience/training on CNC machines

Physical Requirements:

1. Stand and move around all day
2. Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
