| Salary: | $19.28 + $2 for 2nd shift differential |
| Description: | 1. Assists with coating and laminating materials 2. Set up and prepare material for processing 3. Places roll of material onto feed spindle of machine 4. Threads end through feed and guides material into dipping vat or onto transfer roll and through drying oven and attaches it to rewind spindle 5. Fills, monitors, and adjusts adhesive solutions in vats 6. Performs basic machine maintenance and PM’s |
| Requirements: | 1. Ability to read, interpret, write, and speak clearly in English 2. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers 3. Ability to problem solve in gray areas 4. Ability to learn basic inventory control software 5. Basic mechanical aptitude 6. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 7. Accurate data entry skills 8. Sit-down forklift experience preferred 9. Ability to work in an environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and flammable materials. Employee may be required to wear a respirator. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat, and a moderate noise level |
| Physical Requirements: | 1. Ability to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. 2. Ability to occasionally sit and climb or balance 3. Ability to frequently lift and / or move up to 100 lbs with assistance and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50lbs alone 4. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus |
