Job Title: Master Plumber

Pay: $90,000 – $110,000 per year (DOE)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Master Plumber to lead and expand a growing plumbing division within a well-established construction company. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibility—overseeing project execution, maintaining compliance, training staff, and driving operational improvements. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a strategic mindset who enjoys balancing field work with team development and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and oversee plumbing projects across residential and light commercial sites.
• Lead the hiring, onboarding, and professional development of plumbing staff.
• Partner with the company’s Master Plumber of Record to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
• Review project scopes, prepare change orders, and coordinate materials and labor efficiently.
• Serve as a technical expert for plumbing systems, fixtures, and best practices.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and ensure all installations meet local code requirements.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Support Estimators and Project Managers in developing accurate scopes, bids, and timelines.
• Monitor project performance, profitability, and site safety.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and evaluate employee performance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:
• Active Minnesota Master Plumbing License (required).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential and/or light commercial settings.
• Valid driver’s license (for company vehicle or vehicle allowance).
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams and departments.
• Knowledge of safe tool use, PPE, and OSHA jobsite requirements.
• Ability to manage project documentation, schedules, and quality audits accurately.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs as needed.
• Ability to perform hands-on tasks and occasional field work as required.
• Comfortable working in both office and jobsite environments.
