We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler Specialist for a temp-to-hire position in Edina, MN. This role focuses on picking and preparing raw materials for production, packing customer orders, and maintaining warehouse organization.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler Specialist for a temp-to-hire position in Edina, MN. This role focuses on picking and preparing raw materials for production, packing customer orders, and maintaining warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and stage raw materials for work orders based on production schedules.
- Pick and pack finished goods accurately for customer shipments.
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored in an organized and safe manner.
- Assist in maintaining and improving warehouse organization.
- Follow all inventory handling procedures to support accuracy and efficiency.
- Support warehouse cleanliness and safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and stay on task throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with numbers and matching labels/products.
- Dependable and proactive with a willingness to learn.
- Prior warehouse or materials handling experience is a plus but not required.
- No formal education requirement; open to all experience levels.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment with regular movement throughout the day.
- Frequent lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Standing, walking, and reaching required for most of the shift.
- Clean and organized facility with team-focused atmosphere.
