Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-driven Material Specialist for a long-term temporary role in Elk River, MN. This individual will play a vital part in maintaining accurate inventory, preparing shipments, and entering data within a clean, fast-paced, and organized warehouse environment.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-driven Material Specialist for a long-term temporary role in Elk River, MN. This individual will play a vital part in maintaining accurate inventory, preparing shipments, and entering data within a clean, fast-paced, and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform stockroom tasks such as counting, organizing, and storing small parts.
- Handle materials using appropriate shelving, picking, and storage methods.
- Accurately enter and maintain data in inventory and shipping systems.
- Manage physical and digital inventory records with precision.
- Prepare products for shipment, complete necessary documentation, and coordinate transportation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Read and write in English to ensure effective communication and task completion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Previous employment will be verified.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Prior inventory or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.
- Fast-paced warehouse environment with regular movement and activity.
