| Description: | 1. Assemble parts, partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor 2. Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints 3. Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand tools 3. Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce fit between parts 4. Operate drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines, and/or other mechanical devices to assist in assembly operation 5. Inspect and test assembly |
| Requirements: | 1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training 2. Read blueprints and exceptional communication skills 3. Previous experience with engines, oil changes, small engine repair, building engines, engine repairs, etc. 4. Proven experience with hand and power tools. |
