Description
The sales associate is responsible for the sale of new and used outdoor power equipment, including the sale of arborist equipment.  The sales associate will conduct sales within the store, build relationships with customers to help them identify the parts needed to keep their machines operating smoothly.  Expectation of the role is establish and build relationships with promoting all aspects of the company.
Requirements
  1. Quote and sell products to customers in person, on the phone and email.     Work with customers to ensure they are getting the correct product and suggestively sell additional items during the sales process.
  2. What within Softbiz, the operating system, to enter orders, quotes and checking produce availability and pricing.
  3. Look up parts for customers in the store and over the phone.  Be familiar with where to find parts diagrams, basic parts with OPE and order/pull parts for customers.
  4. Check in equipment in need of repair and complete work orders for the technicians, taking photos of the model and serial numbers.
  5. Handle cash and credit card transactions for customers
  6. Check in parts/packages for work orders, store inventory and special orders.
  7. Study and stay current on new product bulletins and catalogs.
  8. Maintain a basic understanding of the arborist equipment to best support climbers looking to maintain and upgrade their gear.
  9. Pull orders and package products, working outside and inside.
  10. Strong written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills
  11. Able to prioritize tasks and flexibility in a high paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 50 lbs
Willingness to work inside and outside when needed.
