Job Description

Packaging and Shipping Associate
Status: Full Time (Temp to Hire)
Work Type: In person

Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM M-F

Pay: $18/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join a nationally recognized plastic conversion company based in Blaine, MN. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals looking to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment. The role supports production by preparing, organizing, and managing materials for packaging, shipping, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist machine operators with cutting and slitting plastic materials.
Box products, palletize materials, and maintain steady workflow using full-body and hand coordination.
Pull and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Perform quality checks on both individual and team output for accuracy.
Organize and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the slitting and cutting areas.
Assist with inventory control and documentation.
Pack and prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, labeling, crating, and securing products.
Load products and document shipments, including units and destination.
Support warehouse operations through flexibility and positive team engagement.
Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
Forklift experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and willingness to follow instructions.
Team player with a proactive approach to learning and growth.

Working Conditions:

Ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly.
Must be able to stand and walk for more than 80% of the shift.
Fast-paced industrial environment with daily physical movement and equipment handling.
