Description: | Work primarily in the die cutting area with cross-training in other areas such as the foam shop, frame shop, and packaging. The shipping and receiving department may need help on occasion if the primary and back-up shippers are out. Therefore, self-motivation, attention to detail, counting skills, and the availability to work full-time hours are vital. 1. Die Cutting - operate a die cutter press, cut leather/vinyl with a scissors or an electric straight knife, stack cut parts, lay up patterns, and laminate materials 2. Frame shop/Thermoforming - hardware assembly on seat bases, use power tools and cut with a band saw, and use small hand tools drills and rivet guns 3. Foam Shop - prep tools, pour in place foam, and de-mold parts 4. Upholstery - trim and prep molded foams, staple seats and pads, trim seat bottom, install liner and hardware, laminate foam and materials, and perform miscellaneous assemblies 5. Packaging - organize, read paperwork, and follow directions |
