Knowledge typically acquired through post-secondary education to include project scheduling curriculum that could be gained through a certification program and/or degree program. 3 years of project scheduling and controls experience, along with demonstrated ability to coordinate teams of project professionals. Must have or be able to quickly gain proficiency in Primavera P6 software and Microsoft Office suite.

Salary
$39 - $54/hr

Company InfoResponsible for monitoring costs and schedules of major projects and supporting project managers to identify corrective actions. This position will be located in Maple Grove MN with the eligibility to work in a hybrid environment.
 
Description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Scheduling: Lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of resource- and cost-loaded project schedules using Primavera, ensuring adherence to standards and providing schedule risk mitigation for transmission and substation projects.
  • Primavera Expertise: Administer and advocate for the use of Primavera P6, including system configuration, data management, user training, and process improvement to support transmission capital projects.
  • Reporting and Risk Management: Provide schedule and cost performance reports, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement and Collaboration: Develop innovative business processes, promote best practices in project controls, and foster effective relationships with internal and external teams to ensure project success.
  • Technical Proficiency and Leadership: Apply expertise in critical path method scheduling, risk mitigation, and project controls to drive efficiency and support organizational goals while mentoring others in project scheduling tools and methodologies.

Physical Reqs
Much of the work will be in a normal office environment with some work being performed in the field at construction sites. Office work involves working at a computer station for long periods of time.  Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
