Company Info
We are seeking an industrial quality technician with excellent attention to detail.   Our ideal candidate will have a background in repairing manufacturing machinery. We operate on a rotating schedule that guarantees every other weekend off. Overtime hours are always available 
Description
•  Will inspect production retains prior to shipment to reduce the shipment of poor quality material.
•  Will work in identifying nonconforming materials/product and work with supervisors, operators, and the Quality Manager to resolve issues.
•  Will monitor the quality of material being produced, ensuring that the product is of the proper gauge, width, that it is correctly packaged, and the roll sizes are correct.
•  Will audit topical additives levels on all lines for proper silicone percentages per the work order.
•  Will audit internal additives on all lines for the proper usage, letdowns, and performance.
•  Will monitor all finished goods to ensure that they are packaged as specified by the work order.
•  May be asked to prepare C of A’s as well as maintain inspection records and production paperwork.
•  Will maintain a storage system of retains and samples.
•  Will be responsible for checking the calibration of instruments and inspection equipment as well as maintaining records for calibration.
•  Will monitor SOP’s and work instructions in regards to packaging, training, extrusion and safety.
•  Assists with the training of new personnel for material handling and line operations.
•  Assists with the development and maintenance of “Know Your Customer” manuals.
•  May be called on to conduct internal audits.
•  Assist with other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
•  May be asked to receive additional training or education.
Requirements
•  Good organizational skills with an ability to address multiple issues at once.
•  Effective communication skills in both spoken and written formats
•  Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
•  Perform basic housekeeping duties.
 
Physical Requirements
•  Be able to lift 60lbs several times throughout the day.
