Job Description

Job Title:Shipping Clerk
Job Type:On-going Temporary 6-12 months +
Location:Elk River, MN
Shift/Hours:1st Shift M-F 8am-4:30pm
Career Level:2 years of experience 
Education:High School Diploma/GED - Verified
Salary:$20-$22.00


Description:
Complete shipping process for both Domestic and International Shipments.  Direct contact with customers via phone and email regarding shipments and expedites.   Process orders and maintain Intercompany Kanban site including order entry. 

1. International and domestic shipments
2. Order processing
3. New account set up
4. Communicate to customer service and operations departments
5. Seek ways to continuously improve
6. Prepare all necessary documents to ensure compliance regulations are met

Requirements:1. High School diploma/GED
2. Strong written and oral communication skills
3. Handle customer information with diplomacy and sensitivity
4. Ability to work independently
5. Good computer skills
6. Previous shipping experience needed

Physical Requirements:1. Ability to move around frequently
2. Ability to sit at a desk frequently
