Description:
  1. Review work orders and paint specifications to ensure an awareness of job requirements
  2. Obtain and mix paint ingredients in accordance with manufacturer’s specs to ensure paint is the proper consistency and viscosity
  3. Assist in managing paint inventory and tracking paint usage
  4. Set up and operate oven to cure parts after painting is completed
  5. Transport parts to be painted into the paint booth or prepping work area 
  6. Inspect parts to be painted to ensure parts are clean and free of non-conformances and ensure proper coating application and make spray gun adjustments as needed
  7. Assemble and disassemble painting equipment to ensure proper care of equipment before and after jobs are completed 
  8. Perform prep work associated with painting which may include racking, hanging, and masking of parts 
  9. Spray units by hand to ensure proper paint application
  10. Maintain paint booth by replacing filters and lights as needed
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Excellent attention to quality 
  3. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  4. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  5. Experience with spray painting 
  6. Basic trouble shooting of painting equipment 
  7. Able to perform basic math 
  8. Must be able to wear a respirator and perform required fit testing
  9. Able and willing to work overtime, including weekends, as business requires
  10. Basic computer and application skills 
Physical Requirements:

  1. Lift up to 20 lbs on a continuous basis 
  2. Ability to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision 
  3. Stand, sit or walk for 8 to 10 hours as business requires
  4. Stooping, bending and walking with up to 30 lbs throughout workday 
  5. Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs on a frequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or above
