Job Summary:
The Specialty Parts Technician supports production and quality operations by carefully handling, inspecting, sorting, and packaging precision metal parts. This role is critical to preventing damage, identifying nonconforming parts, and ensuring customer requirements are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with small, delicate components in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Package finished parts according to customer specifications and quality requirements
• Handle precision metal parts carefully to prevent scratches, dents, or damage
• Maintain a clean, organized work area for part handling, storage, and packaging
• Sort parts with or without the use of aids such as scopes, lighting, or magnification
• Identify and assist in determining part nonconformances during production or packaging
• Run production parts as needed using punch presses or shears
• Maintain accurate records related to packaging and inspection activities
• Follow written work instructions, procedures, and quality standards
• Support production and quality teams as needed

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records
• Desire to learn and continuously improve
