Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to ensure the stability, integrity, and performance of enterprise-level systems and network infrastructure across multiple locations. This position involves planning, designing, developing, and maintaining Cisco-based networking technologies while supporting ongoing monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with large-scale Cisco environments and the ability to apply advanced technical knowledge to maintain a secure, reliable, and efficient network system.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with large-scale Cisco environments and the ability to apply advanced technical knowledge to maintain a secure, reliable, and efficient network system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and control processes for network performance and compliance.
• Execute hands-on technical work involving Cisco enterprise networking technologies (core switching, firewalls, routing, wireless, and load balancing).
• Monitor and troubleshoot network systems to meet established service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Assist in capacity planning, performance tuning, and system alignment with organizational goals.
• Configure, maintain, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enhance network security and reduce risk.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, updates, and SOPs.
• Support and report on key performance indicators for network health and reliability.
• Research and recommend new network technologies to improve performance and sustainability.
• Support 24x7x365 enterprise production environments as needed.

Qualifications:
• Technical college or bachelor’s degree in networking technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Up to 5 years of experience with Cisco networking (hardware, software, and protocols).
• Experience supporting enterprise environments with 300+ network devices (switches, routers, WAPs).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting:

• Experience supporting enterprise environments with 300+ network devices (switches, routers, WAPs).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting:
- Cisco Catalyst 3850 and 9300 switches
- Catalyst 8300 and ISR4000 routers
- ASA and FTD firewall appliances
- WLC 5520 controllers and 9100 series APs
• Familiarity with related systems such as F5 load balancers, DHCP/DNS, WAN technologies, and SD-WAN.
• Working knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, DMVPN, QoS, and Cisco wireless technologies.
• Experience with Cisco IOS-XE, Nexus, WLC, ASDM, FMC, SolarWinds, and Wireshark.
• Proven ability to support large-scale enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work after hours and travel occasionally as needed.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Regular use of hands for installing and configuring hardware.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to move and install equipment.
