Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Torch Cutter to join a busy recycling and metals processing facility. In this role, you will inspect, cut, and prepare metal materials to meet required specifications using an oxy-propane torch. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable operating heavy equipment, and able to work efficiently in an outdoor environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, comfortable operating heavy equipment, and able to work efficiently in an outdoor environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate material handling equipment including front loader, skid steer, and forklift.
• Torch and cut scrap metal of various sizes using an oxygen/natural gas torch.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report findings.
• Maintain and properly use required PPE, including respirator and face mask.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations and maintain fire-safe work areas.
• Assist with yard and facility cleanup and general maintenance as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, field staff, and management.
• Work overtime as needed, including early mornings, late evenings, and Saturdays.
